Instruction artifact, machine-optimized text: TPS, section 0.1 Front matter and change record. Part of TPS and the TPM hub. Human-only edit (TPS 5.13). TPS 0.1.0 was declared final at revision 4 on 2026-09-22, a version declaration recorded in the foundations record; the chain begins at TPX's first landing (TPS 5.6.7). TPS 0.1.1, which changed only the status lines, was declared final on 2026-09-26, TPS 0.3.0, revision 6, on 2026-09-28, and TPS 0.4.0, revision 7, on 2026-09-30. This page is revision 8 of the tree, declared final as TPS 0.5.0 by H-DECL on 2026-10-03 (naming TPS_0.5.0.txt by its file digest and its D(TPS)); revision 7 is carried whole, and revision 5, proposed as 0.2.0, stays undeclared. The text below is this section of the TPS artifact at 0.5.0, verbatim; the whole artifact and its file digest are on The Principia Machina/TPS. TPS 0.1 FRONT MATTER AND CHANGE RECORD
purpose: name, version line, NORMATIVE status, source statement, the
sentinel form, and TPS's own change record
governs: 0.1 | version: 0.5.0 (proposed) | class: instruction artifact
audience: operator, agent

0.1.1 This artifact is TPS, The Principia Machina Specification. It is
NORMATIVE: it states every rule of the TPM framework machinery.
[F1] [F2]
0.1.2 TPS is one artifact. It carries the five layers, the three Public
Recorder parts, the container model and the AGENT CONTRACT
(part 6). [F2]
0.1.3 The version line above is a proposal until H-DECL declares it.
TPS 0.1.0 was declared final at revision 4 on 2026-09-22, a
version declaration recorded in the foundations record, TPS 0.1.1
on 2026-09-26, TPS 0.3.0, revision 6, on 2026-09-28 and TPS
0.4.0, revision 7, on 2026-09-30 the same way; 0.2.0, revision 5,
stays undeclared, and revision 8 is proposed as 0.5.0 (S156). The
genesis line of the DECLARATIONS page, which names the version
and D(TPS) of the declared TPS (CR9), lands at TPX's first
landing (5.6.7). See 5.6, 5.11. [C-22] [DI-1.1] [D83.1] [D185.1]
[D203.1]
0.1.4 Version numbers follow Semantic Versioning 2.0.0 (MAJOR.MINOR.
PATCH). Under major version zero, renames and the landing of owed
bodies are MINOR. [C-22] [DI-1.1]
0.1.5 The digest of a published TPS is D(TPS), computed by TPX over the
text of the preformatted blocks of its pages at H-DECL's
declaration of the version (CR9); a file digest of the assembled
TPS.txt identifies the file for provenance only. A
hand-transcribed digest is not a digest. See 2.5. [I-062]
[D203.1]
0.1.6 TPS cites the foundations record (tpm_foundations_record) as the
source of every reason. The record is DATA; it instructs nothing.
See 8.1. [F1] [B-42]
0.1.7 Rule text is imperative. A rule states what is done or never
done. A rule that TPS cannot yet state is an OWED line. The
keywords MUST, MUST NOT, MAY and their kin carry the meanings of
RFC 2119 and RFC 8174 (see 8.3, S22). [AUTHORED] [B-46]
0.1.8 Sentinel form of the published artifact:
END OF ARTIFACT --- TPS <version>
followed by one line stating that its absence means truncation.
An artifact received without it was truncated and is not saved.

CHANGE RECORD
0.1.0 2026-09-17 Initial drafting by branch tps_full_specification
from PMP-TPM 0.2.0 (rules) and
tpm_foundations_record 0.5.0 (reasons), under the
selections D37.1, D38.2, DI-1.1, DI-3.1, DI-4.1.
Proposed; declaration pending.
2026-09-17 Revision 2 of the proposal: UWC, UUID Workspace
Container, is the defined name of the UUID-bound
unit (DI-6.1); "container" remains the informal
word; DRAFT CONTAINER becomes DRAFT UWC.
2026-09-18 Revision 3 of the proposal, landing an external
review of 2026-09-17: D39.1 the TrM skeleton and
its header; D40.1 QUANTITY and UNIT, and what "one
quantity" means in SR3 and SR8; D41.2 the
ASSUMPTION RECORD and the hardening of SR4, SR5
and SR6; D42.1 with D44.1 INDEPENDENCE, SAME-MODEL
and the REPRODUCTION work block; D43.1 with D47.1
TPC, TPC-PHP and TPC-PY; D46.1 the version of this
revision. Digest recomputed by tool. The page tree
is unchanged because the genesis line is not yet
landed.
2026-09-22 Revision 4 of the proposal, landing
tpm_transfer_finding_D48-D54 0.7.0: D48 the CA-GTP
and the work pipeline; D49-D51 spiked-read canary
delivery, generation over the cross-UWC corpus and
the scorecard, as new units 5.16 UWC access policy,
5.17 the canary programme and 5.18 the scorecard;
D52 the access policy and H-OWN; D53 the
certification split; D54 and D55 the
version-agnostic page tree, its subtree moved to
version-free titles before this import; D83.1
genesis timing (5.6.7); D84.1 the sequential test
declared (7.2.7); D85.2 the guide at 0.1.0,
narrowing the OWED lines of 1.2.3, 2.2.3 and 2.3.7
to TPC. GTP and CA-GTP defined (1.1, 1.2, 6.1);
check-class matrix rows 48-52; permissions rows for
the access list, canary failure detail and
scorecard; three new unit pages and a new diagram,
13 Canary and scorecard pipeline. The 6.6 form
choice: the reading rule under 5.13.2, not twenty
rewritten rows. Digest recomputed by tool; page
banners keep "declaration pending", the genesis
line landing at TPX's first build.
2026-09-22 TPS 0.1.0 declared final at revision 4 by H-DECL,
a version declaration recorded in the foundations
record (0.12.1; D83.1); no chain page created.
0.1.1 2026-09-25 PATCH (D168.1): the status lines only. The section pages'
leads, display titles and header version lines, and the
root page's status line, file digest, artifact head and
sentinel, state that TPS 0.1.0 was declared final at
revision 4 on 2026-09-22; no rule changed. Imported once,
before revision 5; its declaration by H-DECL is recorded
in the foundations record.
2026-09-26 TPS 0.1.1 declared final by H-DECL, a version
declaration recorded in the foundations record; no
chain page created.
0.2.0 2026-09-25 Revision 5 of the tree, proposed as version 0.2.0.
MINOR: normative rules added in a
backward-compatible way; no section another
