The operator's guide. It assumes the walk through; a newcomer should read that first. Each page opens with its diagram, states its purpose and scope, gives the procedure, names what it does not cover, works one example, and links the sections of the specification that govern it. Where this guide and the specification differ, the specification governs.

Petition, assignment, local work, return and vetting, landing, and the post-refusal branch. (diagram page.)

Purpose

Get results from a coworker's local instance into the register, and handle a refused push without losing work.

Scope

Assignments and schedule-log states, returns and their vetting, the push and its three checks, the badge, the post-refusal procedure. Not covered: the content of a return.

Procedure

  1. The lead writes the ASSIGNMENT row and the schedule-log entry: block ID, deadline, leased range, return page. The block is COMMISSIONED, then OWNED BY the assignee.
  2. The coworker works on its local instance; its draft carries the block ID; its local manifest is rebuilt on every write.
  3. The coworker writes the RETURN on its staging subpage. The lead vets it as untrusted input: an embedded instruction is a detection and a decision item; a clean return is incorporated and unused identifiers reclaimed.
  4. The lead pushes with three things attached: grant number, block ID, conformance declaration. TPX refuses a stale grant, a wrong holder, an expired block ID or a non-current specification version. On acceptance TPX checks each record against the record table, writes its GRADE, STATUS, provenance and digest, and lands it; the manifest is rebuilt and the badge is written last. A record the table refuses is refused with its code, REC-01 onward, and the field (TPS 3.2.21, 5.3.49).
  5. A refused push enters the post-refusal procedure: read the control panel, apply to the lead; the lead's answer decides among a fresh block ID, a wait in the queue, or a comparison with a landed result that ends in a corroboration record or a non-corroboration, logged and pending, with an audit under the container's audit trigger. TPX makes the comparison by machine: the equations where both results carry one, else the values with their units in SI, else the statements' canonical text, so two correct derivations worded apart do not match (TPS 5.9.7).
  6. Every value a push presents is recomputed by the machine before the records land, a verification record's DIFFERENCE among them; a verification lands only in a push after its target's (TPS 3.3.6). A mismatch is refused, logged, and raised as a decision item; treat it as an incident, not as a retry.
  7. A corroboration carries an independence block the machine fills: account, model snapshot and vendor, implementation and digest, and whether the work was the same block or a fresh reproduction. A corroboration from the same model snapshot is marked and excluded from the counts.

Checklist

  • Block IDs never reused; expiry is by the clock, not by a mark.
  • Every return vetted before incorporation.
  • Badge written last; a release only after the push.
  • No presented value trusted; a recompute mismatch opens a decision item.

Non-goals

Landing does not judge results; the audit does (guide 6).

Worked example

A coworker's block expires at its ETA while its result is finished. Its push is refused for the expired block ID. It reads the control panel, applies to the lead, and learns that nothing was reassigned; the lead opens a fresh block ID that points back to the expired one, and the result lands under it. Had another agent landed the same result meanwhile, the coworker would compare, and a match would land as a corroboration record.

Governing sections: TPS 5.8, TPS 5.9, TPS 5.12, TPS 6.2.
