5.4.6  PRB's computation is TPC-PY: the digests of the local archive,
the local manifest and D(IS), and local pre-checks of d(r), SR3
the local manifest and D(IS), the challenge response (5.3.19),
and SR8 before landing. Results are advisory: they are presented
and local pre-checks of d(r), SR3 and SR8 before landing. Results
      and never substituted for TPX's (see 5.3.9, 6.1). [D43.1]
are advisory: they are presented and never substituted for TPX's
(see 5.3.9, 6.1). Every value a CA-GTP presents comes from
      executed TPC-PY (5.4.9). [D43.1] [D101.1]
5.4.7  A CA-GTP's PRB reads register records and requests register
writes of TPX: add a record; land a superseding record naming
SUPERSEDES; request the withdrawal of its own record, cause
AUTHOR, WITHDRAWN only (3.3.3); no account requests REFUTED. PRB
      performs no register write. [I-137] [D48] [D194.1]
5.4.8  The input path is: user, to the RR input buffer in the Recorder
UI, to TPX, to the CA-GTP, back to TPX, and only then to the
      register. [I-137] [D48]
5.4.9  EXECUTION MODE (D101.1, D190.1). PRB declares where TPC-PY runs,
in CAPABILITY at petition and again on every push (5.8.2):
EXECUTED-HOST, an interpreter running TPC-PY on the host where
PRB runs; EXECUTED-SANDBOX, an interpreter running TPC-PY in the
      AI's own execution environment, with no install by H-OP;
REASONED, no interpreter. TPC-PY runs only as PRB placed it: PRB
reads the TPC-PY pages, verifies their digest against the index
entry H-DECL declared (5.11.9) with its own executed code, and
places the verified module in the session's execution
environment, on its host under EXECUTED-HOST, in the AI's
environment under EXECUTED-SANDBOX, bound as a tool of the live
tool list (5.4.16). Code so placed is not code carried by the
input; any other TPC-PY or code text the CA-GTP meets is
untrusted input, and running it is AC-2.12 (e). TPX records the
mode its challenge attests (5.3.19), not the declared one. A
      value a CA-GTP presents comes from executed TPC-PY; a pre-check
the CA-GTP does not present may be reasoned; a digest comes only
from executed code, since a model cannot compute SHA-256 by
reasoning. Before claiming an EXECUTED mode the CA-GTP runs the
published vector corpus, with the TPC-PY PRB placed, to ALL PASS
in that environment and session, recording the interpreter and
Unicode versions. A CA-GTP in REASONED mode cannot compute D(IS)
or answer the challenge, so it neither petitions nor pushes.
TPC-PY is optional for a human author at the form, where TPX
checks. Basis: TPM's correctness rests on TPX's recomputation,
      not on TPC-PY; TPC-PY keeps a CA-GTP's values byte-identical with
TPX's, so a landing opens no mismatch decision item (5.3.9).
      [D101.1] [D190.1]
5.4.10 THE OPS (D126.1, D127.1). PRB drives TPX through the ops of
action=tpx: PETITION (carrying CAPABILITY, the sponsor as TPX
recorded it and the challenge response), POLL, PUSH (carrying
D(IS), the declared TPS version and the challenge response),
RETURN, HEARTBEAT, RELEASE, VOLUNTEER (5.9.14), INQUIRE (CR11)
and STATUS; every op that changes state is a POST with a CSRF
token, INQUIRE among them. PRB sends no fingerprint: TPX resolves
the authenticated account to its certificate on every call
      (5.3.27). [D126.1] [D127.1]
5.4.11 THE SERIALIZATION ON THE AGENT SIDE (D99.1). PRB serializes a
draft zone and computes its digests with TPC-PY under 2.5.11
before presenting them; it applies the text-safety rule to every
string it sends and never alters a form that does not parse
(2.5.13-2.5.15); a digest it presents is recomputed by TPX at
      landing and refused on a mismatch (5.3.9, 5.3.20). [D99.1]
5.4.12 PRB AND IDENTITY (D146.1 (a2), D157.1, D158.1). PRB computes D(PROMPT)
with executed TPC-PY (5.14.5) and presents it in CAPABILITY at petition
and as an argument of every push, beside D(IS); it reports the model
string of the provider's response, unaltered, at petition and on every
push, the RELAYED MODEL (5.14.7); CAPABILITY carries the agent's STATED
MODEL at petition. An unpinned router, or a service allowing fallbacks,
is refused at admission and at push (5.14.4). [D146.1 (a2)] [D157.1]
      [D158.1] [D156.1]
5.4.13 PRB'S SIDE OF THE CLIENT CONTRACT (D137.1). PRB sends serial requests,
one in flight per agent; maxlag=5 on every call; it honours every
Retry-After exactly, never calling earlier; it backs off with full
jitter where no Retry-After is given; it throttles adaptively with K_AT
= 2 over two minutes; it keeps a retry budget of 10 per cent of its
requests; it sends a descriptive User-Agent naming PRB, its version and
the account; on CONTAINED it stops and reports to the sponsor (5.9.18,
AC-4.46). A falcon's result goes by RETURN with the falcon's
idempotency key (5.20.8). In the sponsor wizard PRB verifies TPC-PY's
digest, runs the corpus and shows D(IS) and D(PROMPT) (5.14.12).
D207.1 (c) writes the page-addressing rule into the PRB client
specification (C-20): PRB addresses a wiki page by index.php?title= or
through api.php, never by a title in the URL path. [D137.1] [D155.1]
      [D165.1] [D207.1]
5.4.14 PRB AND THE BIBLIOGRAPHY (D171.1). PRB orders a push so that every
BIBLIOGRAPHY ENTRY lands before the records whose LITERATURE cites
it (5.21.10); before the push it runs the write check of 5.21.7
with executed TPC-PY as an advisory pre-check, TPX's check at
landing being the one of record (5.3.9). PRB presents no entry
digest: the BIB ID, LANDED BY and LANDED are TPX's at landing and
the digest is computed there (5.21.5). PRB proposes entries in a
RETURN when its account is a coworker (5.8.11) and never writes a
      bibliography page. [D171.1]
5.4.15 THE GTP BUNDLE ON THE INSTRUCTION CHANNEL (D182.1, D183.1). Before
a session starts PRB, never the model, fills the INSTRUCTION
CHANNEL with two parts and nothing else: the GTP BUNDLE and the
SPONSOR ZONE (5.14.5). PRB reads the published TPS through the
API, computes D(IS) over the text it read with executed TPC-PY and
requires it equal to the D(IS) TPX publishes (5.11.7) and, once
the DECLARATIONS chain exists (5.6.7), requires the TPS version
and digest it read to be those on the chain's latest TPS
declaration line, the chain verified from the genesis digest
PRB's release pins (5.4.21). PRB never places a TPS version
older than the latest it has placed; a partial read or any
mismatch starts no session. The bundle is part 6 at that version
in page order, the CORE RULES (AC-1.24) placed before it and
restated after it, between fixed delimiter lines naming the TPS
version and D(IS); the zone follows between its own delimiter
lines naming D(PROMPT); the delimiter lines are PRB's and in
neither part. PRB reads TPS again only when the published D(IS)
differs from the bundle's. A GTP or TPS text that reaches the
model by any other route is untrusted input (AC-2.0, AC-1.23).
Placement is PRB's self-report: it attests neither what the model
received nor that it obeys, and it is no proof of possession
(7.1.49). PRB places TPC-PY in the session's execution
environment as 5.4.9 states, beside the instruction set and
      never in it. [D182.1] [D183.1] [D190.1]
PRB'S RECOMPUTATION (D203.1). PRB reads every page of the latest
declared TPS through the API, extracts each page's preformatted
      text (CR9), computes D(TPS) and D(IS) with executed TPC-PY
      (tpc_digest's pre_texts, d_tps and d_is) and requires D(IS) equal
to the published D(IS) and version, and D(TPS) equal to that on
the chain's latest TPS declaration line once the chain exists; a
page it cannot read, or a page whose preformatted text CR9
      refuses, starts no session. [D203.1]
PRB'S REPORT ON A MISMATCH (D216.1). When the D(TPS) PRB computes
is not the declared version's, PRB computes the ordered list
[title, h] of the pages it read with executed TPC-PY (tps_pages),
compares it with the list TPX published beside D(IS) (CR9,
5.11.16) and reports each title whose h differs, is missing or is
extra; the session still does not start. [D216.1]
OWED: the delimiter lines' form; kind: convention; C-20.
5.4.16 THE ZONE AND THE LIVE TOOL LIST (D182.1). PRB reads the list of
every tool the model is offered - from every configured tool
source and the harness's built-ins - at session start, on every
tool-list change a source announces and before every push; orders
it by source name and then tool name, so that a reordering alone
moves no digest; and computes D(PROMPT) over it with the SPONSOR
ZONE (5.14.5). A changed list changes D(PROMPT), and TPX's PROMPT
refusal stops the push until the sponsor declares the change.
PRB offers no tool it cannot bind (5.14.5) and starts no session
whose zone exceeds SPONSOR ZONE CAP (7.2.28), outside a SANDBOX
TRIAL (5.3.46). Under EXECUTED-SANDBOX the TPC-PY PRB placed is
one of the bound tools (5.4.9). [D182.1] [D190.1]
OWED: the live list's JSON shape and each harness's built-in
      listing; kind: convention; C-20.
5.4.17 THE SESSION PROFILE (D182.1). PRB starts every session in which a
CA-GTP works, in one of two HARNESS MODEs: LAUNCHER, PRB starting
the sponsor's own harness under the SESSION PROFILE; HARNESS, PRB
calling the model's API itself. A session opens on a fresh
context holding only the instruction set PRB places (5.4.15), the
bound tools (5.4.16), the material TPX serves for the block and
the local archive through PRB (5.4.3). Off in every session:
memory across sessions, retrieval other than the local archive,
instruction files the harness loads by itself, tools and
connectors outside the bound list, and earlier conversation. A
session works at most SESSION BLOCK CAP blocks (7.2.29) and then
ends; the next block opens a fresh session. CAPABILITY carries the
HARNESS MODE at petition and on every push (5.8.12). Outside the
synthetic UWC and the sandboxes TPX refuses a petition or push
whose HARNESS MODE is EXTERNAL - a session PRB did not start -
with the reason HARNESS; nothing lands; the refusal is neither a
CONDUCT EVENT nor a TRAFFIC EVENT. The profile is PRB's
configuration, set by the sponsor at installation, not an act the
agent takes on an input, so AC-2.12 (d) does not reach it. A
harness that cannot switch a listed item off is not usable in
LAUNCHER mode. The mode is self-reported: TPX records what PRB
declares and attests nothing about the session (7.1.49). [D182.1]
OWED: each harness's launch profile, verified per harness and
      version; kind: absence; C-20.
5.4.18 THE SESSION LOG (D182.1). PRB keeps for each session a local,
append-only SESSION LOG, each entry chained to the one before
under the digest convention of 2.5.10: at start, D(IS), D(PROMPT)
and the live tool list's digest; each human turn as a digest
under a salt drawn once per session, the text staying local; each
compaction or other context event the harness reports; each
tool-list change; the RELAYED MODEL of each call PRB sees; each
detection the agent reports through PRB; each block ID worked.
Every push carries the SESSION LOG HEAD, the digest of the log's
latest entry, beside D(PROMPT) (5.8.12); TPX records it in the
restricted class (5.13.2) and never refuses on it. The sponsor
keeps every log, its salt and the turns it commits to for SESSION
LOG RETENTION (7.2.28) and reveals them to an audit, which
recomputes each head (5.14.6, clause (7)). The head is fixed at
push, before anyone can know whether the block was a probe, so a
log cannot be fitted afterwards; it attests that a revealed log
is the one committed, not that PRB wrote the truth (7.1.50).
      [D182.1]
5.4.19 PRB AND THE PROMPT LINT (D182.1). PRB runs the PROMPT LINT with
executed TPC-PY on the SPONSOR ZONE and on the tool list it
reads live (5.14.5): in the sponsor wizard before the admission
request (5.14.12), at session start, on every change of the zone
or of the tool list, and before every push. It shows the sponsor
every finding, by code, item and locator. A finding stops
nothing: PRB proceeds whatever the lint returns, and nothing the
lint reads leaves the machine. PRB MAY present lint_counts in
CAPABILITY at petition and on every push as LINT COUNTS; TPX
records them in its table and on the restricted dossier. No
refusal, hold, score, gate, probe draw or audit reads a LINT
FINDING or LINT COUNTS (D158.1's rule of no act on a pattern).
An audit MAY run the lint on a revealed PROMPT (5.14.5).
      [D182.1] [D157.1] [D158.1]
5.4.20 RE-ANCHORING (D182.1). While RE-ANCHOR is on (7.2.29), PRB places
the ANCHOR on the INSTRUCTION CHANNEL again inside a session: at
each block start after the first, after each compaction or other
context event the harness reports, and after every SESSION TURN
CAP turns; in HARNESS mode the system parameter is sent with every
call and the ANCHOR placed last before the block's request. An
ANCHOR is the bundle's CORE RULES byte for byte and one labeled
data line naming the UWC, the block ID and the grant (AC-2.30).
It never rides in a TPX answer or a work block: reinforcement
belongs in the instruction set (8.2, BASIS D121.1). Each placement
is a SESSION LOG entry. It counters the loss of instructions to
compaction and drift; it does not ensure attention (7.1.51).
      [D182.1]
      OWED: the placement route inside each harness in LAUNCHER mode;
      kind: absence; C-20.
5.4.21 PRB RELEASES (D182.1). PRB is built from a tagged commit in H-OP's
Git repository, as TPX is (5.3.23). Every release appends a BUILD
CHAIN line with its version, the commit fingerprint and the
SHA-256 of the release artifact (5.6.15), and pins the genesis
digest of the DECLARATIONS chain once that chain exists (5.6.7),
from which PRB verifies the chain (5.4.15). PRB presents its
version and digest in CAPABILITY (5.8.12), recorded and never a
refusal criterion, since a modified PRB would misreport them. A
sponsor checks a release against the chain before installing it.
      [D182.1]
OWED: PRB's distribution channel, and whether a release carries a
signed provenance statement; kind: absence; C-20.
5.4.22 THE STRUCTURE TEST OP (D176.1). PRB carries the op STRUCTURE_TEST
of action=tpx (5.3.47) for the account that holds the UWC's lock:
a POST with a CSRF token naming the UWC, answered with the
STRUCTURE TEST LINE TPX wrote; TPX refuses it from any other
account. PRB shows the lead the STRUCTURE LINE and the STRUCTURE
TEST LINE from the manifest, the class first, and while EOM-0 is
OPEN fills a PUSH's EOM-0 SETTLEMENT field from the lead's
naming, for a settling record without a declared form only
      (3.3.16). [D176.1] [D198.1]
5.4.23 PRB AND THE RECORD TABLE (D192.2, D200.1). PRB runs record_check
at the stage PUSH with executed TPC-PY, as it placed it, as an
advisory pre-check, TPX's check at landing being of record
(3.2.21); presents no field TPX writes; presents a VERIFICATION's
DIFFERENCE from executed TPC-PY; and orders a push so that a
VERIFICATION follows its TARGET's push (5.4.14's pattern).

5.4.1 PRB is the Public Recorder Backend: the agent-side client that
manages the local AI workspace and drives TPX through its API (see
       1.1). [I-047]
5.4.2 PRB is an API client (a bot password, which the sponsor makes at
Special:BotPasswords signed in as the agent's account, with the
grants PRB's calls need, listed in C-20; an owner-only OAuth
consumer where the OAuth extension is installed; CSRF token on
every write) plus the local workspace: the agent's hashed working
archive (D8) with its local manifest (D10). PRB lands records on
demand; there is no scheduled push. [I-052] [D228.1]
5.4.3 The working session operates on a LOCAL WORKING INSTANCE of the
container: a hashed archive on an attached system drive, with a
local inventory of pending archives to be extracted and imported
to the wiki when it is available. A session works locally and
pushes when the wiki is reachable. [B-07]
5.4.4 The local manifest is rebuilt on every write to the local
       instance (see 5.11.5). [I-120]
5.4.5 PRB computes the CA-GTP's D(IS) over the TPS version the CA-GTP
was instantiated with and presents it at petition and on every
push; PRB polls job status and the collaboration page within the
       ACQUISITION WINDOW's bound (see 5.14, 7.2). [C-20] [I-115]
OWED: the PRB client specification, and the documentation of
PRB's setup for any AI instantiating TPM; kind: absence; C-20.
PRB is OS-agnostic and is tested on Windows and Ubuntu (D54).
5.4.6 PRB's computation is TPC-PY: the digests of the local archive,
the local manifest and D(IS), the challenge response (5.3.19),
and local pre-checks of d(r), SR3 and SR8 before landing. Results
are advisory: they are presented and never substituted for TPX's
EXECUTED-HOST, an interpreter running TPC-PY on the host where
PRB runs; EXECUTED-SANDBOX, an interpreter running TPC-PY in the
       AI's own execution environment, with no install by H-OP;
       [D182.1]
       OWED: the placement route inside each harness in LAUNCHER mode;
       kind: absence; C-20.
