Instruction-layer specification, machine-optimized text: GTP 0.1.0, section IDENTITY AND INTEGRITY. Part of GTP and the TPM hub. Implements TPS 0.1.0. PROPOSED and UNDECLARED: no implementation may cite it as normative until its genesis line is landed. Human-only edit (TPS 5.13). The text below is this section of the GTP 0.1.0 artifact, verbatim; the whole artifact and its file fingerprint are on The Principia Machina/GTP. Human readers: the contents page is the map.

IDENTITY AND INTEGRITY
3.1 Every artifact of an instruction set MUST carry a header declaring
its name, its class, its own version, the compatibility range of
every artifact it depends on, and the sections of other artifacts it
    consumes.
3.2 Every artifact MUST end with a terminal sentinel naming itself and
    its version.
3.3 A copy without its sentinel arrived truncated and MUST NOT be
installed, repaired by hand, or partially used.
3.4 The only rollback an instruction set has is replacement of the whole
file. Every delivery MUST state this.
3.5 Every artifact MUST carry a change record, one entry per version,
    naming what moved.
3.6 A digest of an artifact file is provenance only. It is not a digest
in the sense of TPS 2.5, which only the wiki extension computes, and
an implementation MUST label it so wherever it is published.
