Text equivalent
Stage 1 Draft: a DRAFT UWC enters its zones in order and each rejected component returns to the author (5.5.1, 5.5.2). Stage 2 Certify: TPX computes the four digests, obtains the UUID and prefix, writes the candidate certificate; H-DECL lands it as a DECLARATIONS line, with the container's access policy OPEN or CLOSED; TPX initializes the container and appends the BUILD CHAIN line (5.5.3, 5.5.4). Stage 3 Work: the lock, work blocks, landings, manifest and badge written last, release after push (5.7 to 5.10). Stage 4 Audit: the CAC at every run applies SR1 to SR9, writes strikes, and opens audit blocks that end in decision items (4.1 to 4.6). Stage 5 Succession: a digest-gate failure or a change request leads to RESTORE, FORK or COPY-FORWARD into a successor; retirement leaves pages read-only (2.5.7, 3.4, 5.11.6).
