Documentation, non-normative; machine-optimized text: section THE NON-SUSPENDABLE CORE of the text published under the name GTP. Part of GTP and the TPM hub. Written against TPS 0.1.0, part 6, the AGENT CONTRACT, which taken as a runnable instruction set is GTP and carries no version of its own (TPS 1.2.6). This text carries no version and no genesis line; where it and TPS differ, TPS governs (D174.1). Human-only edit (TPS 5.13). The text below is this section, verbatim; the whole text and its file fingerprint are on The Principia Machina/GTP. Human readers: the contents page is the map.

THE NON-SUSPENDABLE CORE
7.1 The following MUST NOT be suspendable by any mechanism an
implementation provides: sections 8 and 9 in full; rule 6.4; and the
compatibility check of 13.2 and 13.3.
7.2 An attempt to suspend a core rule MUST return a refusal naming the
core, after which the rest of the request proceeds normally.
7.3 The core MUST be resident in an artifact that is always in force. It
MUST NOT be loaded on demand.
BASIS: a defence that can fail to load is not a defence, and the
failure it defends against is one that can cause the load to fail.
7.4 An implementation MAY place further rules in its core. It MUST NOT
    remove any named in 7.1.
