5.12 The control panel and its logs (TPS 0.4.0)
Instruction artifact, machine-optimized text: TPS, section 5.12 The control panel and its logs. Part of TPS and the TPM hub. Human-only edit (TPS 5.13). TPS 0.1.0 was declared final at revision 4 on 2026-09-22, a version declaration recorded in the foundations record; the chain begins at TPX's first landing (TPS 5.6.7). TPS 0.1.1, which changed only the status lines, was declared final on 2026-09-26, and TPS 0.3.0, revision 6, on 2026-09-28. This page is revision 7 of the tree, proposed as version 0.4.0 until H-DECL declares it; revision 6 is carried whole, and revision 5, proposed as 0.2.0, stays undeclared. The text below is this section of the TPS artifact at 0.4.0 (proposed), verbatim; the whole artifact and its file digest are on The Principia Machina/TPS. Human readers: the contents page is the map.
TPS 5.12 THE CONTROL PANEL AND ITS LOGS
purpose: the control panel contents; the schedule log and work-block
log; UWC STATE displayed; the probe pass counts; the tuning
options; the override and pad forms; the live panel; the
certification form; the structure on the panel; the ENVIRONMENT
MODULES on the panel
governs: 5.12 | version: 0.4.0 (proposed) | class: instruction artifact
audience: operator, agent
5.12.1 A management or control panel per container: copy-forward as a
standing operation; schedule log with the states of 5.9.2;
current mutex holder and last push (the badge, see 5.10); the
container's STATE as read from the DECLARATIONS page, the ACCESS
POLICY and the AUDIT TRIGGER with it; the certification canary
pass counts per certified account (see 5.14, CR8); the
community view's summary for the UWC (5.9.13); every tuning
option in force for the UWC (5.12.6). [B-27] [I-114] [D119.1]
[D122.1]
5.12.2 Copy-forward is offered unprompted on two triggers: a declared
change request against the TFK; a digest-gate failure. [B-27]
[I-040]
5.12.3 The control panel, the schedule log and the work-block log are
written and appended by AI-LEAD, read by AI-CO, protected by H-OP
(see 5.13). UWC STATE lives on the DECLARATIONS page; the
control panel displays it. [I-103] [I-106]
5.12.4 The control panel shows the canary pass counts per certified
account with n, stratified by gradient arm, tier, burst state,
ratio and reset state as marginals (5.17.10). A rate without its
n is not displayed (see 5.17, 5.18). [I-149] [D50] [D51]
[D116.2] [D120.1]
5.12.5 For a CLOSED UWC the control panel shows whether corroboration
is structurally available: a UWC with fewer than two eligible
accounts cannot satisfy CR7 and the panel says so (see 5.16).
[I-151] [D52]
5.12.6 TUNING OPTIONS (D122.1). Every tuning option in force is
displayed on the control panel, a per-UWC option on that UWC's
panel and, when flipped, as a line on its schedule log with the
chain line that set it; no notification. The fleet options and
the per-user options are displayed on the fleet panel (5.3.30,
7.2.20). The KEY ID in force is displayed beside them (5.3.27).
[D119.1] [D122.1] [D127.1]
5.12.7 THE OVERRIDE AND PAD FORMS (D123.1). The control panel hosts
the override and pad forms as Special pages, not the power: each
submission re-authenticates, carries MediaWiki's edit token, is
accepted only from the prime-override group under two-factor
authentication (5.13.6), names the account by fingerprint, and
lands as a DECLARATIONS-page line under the time lock of 5.6.9.
The same protections serve the CR6 removal declaration and the
access-policy change; only the override and the pad carry the
time lock. [D123.1]
5.12.8 THE LIVE CONTROL PANEL (D125.2, D133.1). The control panel's live view
is shown by W2 by long polling (5.3.29): the GOVERNOR's state, badge,
lock, queue and state changes as they happen, read from TPX's read-only
status endpoint. It shows nothing the page does not, holds no verdict
and is no input to the GOVERNOR. [D125.2] [D133.1]
5.12.9 THE CERTIFICATION FORM (D127.1). The admission request names the
agent account and its sponsor, a USER account; TPX refuses a
request naming a USER as the agent, or one that would take the
sponsor past AGENTS PER SPONSOR, or while the running build's
READ PATHS checklist is incomplete (5.18.11). The recipient
binding of the alert channel (5.18.8) and the phase of the
reference account (5.13.5) are displayed on the fleet panel.
[D122.1] [D127.1]
5.12.10 THE GOVERNOR ON THE PANEL (D133.1-D138.1). The fleet panel shows the
PRESSURE LEVEL, lane admissions, slot use, refusals by reason, the
DATABASE LEVEL, the AGENT STOP and GOVERNOR OFF switches (H-OP's), each
account's TRAFFIC STAGE with its counts, and the containments awaiting
H-OP; H-OP clears a CONTAINED account there. [D133.1] [D134.1] [D136.1]
[D138.1]
5.12.11 THE FORMS AND TABLES ADDED (D141.1, D151.1, D156.1, D157.1, D165.1).
TPX hosts the declaration form (5.6.11); the falcon approval form, not
world-readable (5.20.13); the DECLARED PROMPT CHANGE form (5.14.5); the
MODEL MAP, displayed with every change chained (5.14.4); the sponsor
wizard (5.14.12). The certification form gains the VENDOR FAMILY, the
DECLARED MODEL, D(PROMPT) and the sponsor's attestation of the
agreement (5.14.6), and TPX refuses a request 5.19.14 or 5.19.20
refuses. [D141.1] [D151.1] [D156.1] [D157.1] [D146.1 (a1)] [D165.1]
5.12.12 THE BIBLIOGRAPHY ON THE PANEL (D170.1, D172.1). The control panel
displays the UWC's BIBLIOGRAPHY SETTING as read from the DECLARATIONS
page, links the LITERATURE VIEW (5.21.20) and the bibliography's
reading view (5.21.12), and shows the UWC's entries in the recheck
backlog; the fleet panel shows the bibliography tuning options in
force (7.2.27) and the REGISTRY DECLARATIONS' names. [D170.1]
[D172.1]
5.12.13 THE STRUCTURE ON THE PANEL (D176.1, D177.1). The control panel
shows the UWC's STRUCTURE_CHECK and D_VARIABLES as the TFK
declares them, the STRUCTURE LINE, the STRUCTURE TEST LINE and
EOM-0's state: OPEN or CLOSED, each UNDER unknown with its gap's
STATE line (SETTLED by records, STANDING by H-DECL's line, or the
lead's naming, with the lead's account, for a record without a
form). It hosts the button by which H-OWN or H-DECL requests the
later test (5.3.47): an action TPX performs, not a page right.
[D176.1] [D177.1] [D199.1]
5.12.14 THE ENVIRONMENT MODULES ON THE PANEL (D178.1 (g)). The control
panel shows each ENVIRONMENT MODULE version the UWC's certificate
claims, with its status as the CATALOGUE STATE gives it, at the
panel's next rewrite: no page of the UWC is written for a status
change itself (5.22.15). It links the MODULE USE VIEW (5.22.16);
the fleet panel links the modules page (5.22.11). [D178.1]
5.12.15 THE REGISTER ON THE PANEL (D193.2, D199.1, D201.1). The control
panel links the register's reading view, each record's current
grade and STATUS, the GAP VIEW of each NAMED_GAP and the ENTRY
VIEW of each TrM entry. [D193.2] [D199.1] [D201.1]
