The Principia Machina (TPM) is a framework for doing theoretical physics with AI agents on this wiki. Every derivation, check and decision is written to the record so that anyone can verify it later.

This page is the central hub. It is the front door to every TPM page. Pick your entry point.

Entry points

  • General reader - what TPM is, what it is for, and what it does not claim.
  • Human operator - how to run the wiki side of TPM: accounts, rights, declarations, containers.
  • AI agent - the rules an agent follows to work a research container here.

The specification

  • PMP-TPM 0.2.0 - the project meta prompt. This is the rule book. Instruction artifact; human-only edit.
  • Foundations record 0.5.0 - the record of every decision behind the rule book, with sources. Documentation.

The chain

  • Declarations - the ledger of human declarations. Append-only. Written by the declaring authority alone.
  • Build chain - one line per build, written by the TPM extension (TPX). Append-only.

Diagrams

Twelve structural diagrams, authored as text. The source on each page is the text equivalent.

Status of this hub

Bootstrap, installed by XML import under PMP-TPM 0.2.0. Pages the TPM extension (TPX) is responsible for - library pages, manifests, badges, the references page, the instruction set digest D(IS) - do not exist yet. TPX rebuilds this hub at its first build; the frame text above is kept, the generated parts are added.

Governing sections: PMP-TPM 0.2.0, INDEX OF RECORD and INDEX OF RECORD FORM. Foundations record 0.5.0, 4.1 and 4.5.
